What is the chemistry behind “BioBubble”? How does it work?
Antimicrobial activity of “BioBubble” is accredited to the formation of mono-molecular cationic layer over the application surface which pierces the virus’ cell membranes, auto-lysing and causing its inactivation upon direct contact.
What is the active ingredient used in this formulation?
Trimethoxy Silyl Quaternary Ammonium Chloride.
For how many days does it remain effective?
The “BioBubble” treatment ensures formation of a protective coating over the surface which electrocutes the negative RNA upon exposure and also does not allow microbial contamination on the treated surfaces for up to 90 days with more than 99% tested efficacy.
What precautions to be taken during application?

How does it differ from conventional disinfectants?
Conventional Disinfectants are based on alcohol, chlorine or peroxides. These chemicals prevents microbial contamination up to few hours. The infection load increases with time, leaving behind insignificant residues. “BioBubble” Surface Treatment ensures prolonged sterilization and does not allow the microbes to accumulate over the surface up to 90 days.
What is its recommended dosage?
500 ml of undiluted BioBubble COAT 90D is required to disinfect an area of 750 – 1000 sq.ft.
Is the formulation recommended by any health organization?
Yes, the formulation has been approved by United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA).
Does it have anti-fungal property?
It does not allow fungus to grow on the treated surfaces.
Does it reduce the durability of the surfaces on which it is used?
No, “BioBubble” treatment does not show any adversities on application surfaces. Except for food contact surfaces, “BioBubble” treatment can be initiated on any surface, taking no account of its type.
Is post rinsing required after application?
No rinsing is required after application. The chemical used should be allowed to air dry for 15 – 30 minutes.
Can I use this to sanitize vegetables?
No, BioBubble COAT 90D cannot be used on any food items or any food contact surfaces.
Any reservation regarding material compatibility?
Except on food items and food contact surfaces, “BioBubble” treatment can be done on any type of hard and soft surfaces be it metal, non-metal, plastics, fiber, wood, concrete, marble, tiles, ply, etc.

Is “BioBubble” treatment effective on Corona Virus?
“BioBubble” COAT 90D in undiluted form deactivates lipophilic enveloped virus with 99.99% tested efficacy. Yes, it is effective on Corona Virus.
Is it stable? Does it undergo hazardous decomposition?
It is stable at normal conditions and does not undergo any hazardous decomposition.
Is it flammable? Does it require any specific storage procedure?
No, it is not flammable and can be easily stored. However, it is recommended to be kept away from any source of heat, flames and oxidizing agents. It has shelf life of 2 years when stored properly.
Is it safe to deploy BioBubble in the kitchen area?
Yes, it is safe to deploy BioBubble in kitchen area if no open food items are kept during the time of deployment.
Is BioBubble safe to be used on Utensils and Crockeries?
There is no point in coating utensils, as the use of dishwash detergent will remove the coating from the surface.
Can it be used on Wallpapers?
Usually BioBubble deployment through Electrostatic fogger is safe on wallpaper, but it must be ensured that the wallpaper does not get drenched as over usage of the product may make fabric dampish which may attract dust. Do not use cloth on the wallpaper.
Is the Chemical safe to be used on Veneer and Laminated furniture?
Yes
Is it safe to use on Sofas with: a) Leather/Rexin covers or b) Fabric covers?
Yes, it is safe. However, the same theory of use of COAT 90D on wallpaper applies here.
In absence of FloorCoat, what alternative can be used for floor sanitization until the stock arrives?
BioBubble Coat 90D can provide a longer lasting coating but would turn out to be expensive for initial application. FloorCoat being a water-soluble product is more cost effective and provides protection up to 7 days on each application.

Hand sanitation is one of the best personal hygiene practices. Washing your hands firstly with soap & water, and then sanitizing your hands with hand sanitizer makes you healthier. In addition, doctors always recommend using it in the kitchen before cooking. Also, it must be used in hospitals after surgery or any other activity.
Are Hand Sanitizers effective on Coronavirus?
Alcohol based Hand Sanitizers with Chlorhexidine Gluconate are effective on Corona Virus. The N-CoV is an enveloped virus which comes from the SARS CoV2 family. The CHG helps to penetrate through the protein layer of the virus and Alcohol above 65% is effective to kill the Virus. ALSTASAN HANDRUB is a 70% Ethyl Alcohol composition with 2.5% CHG 20.

Is Hydrogen Peroxide in the Sanitizer good for the skin?
Over use of Hydrogen Peroxide may cause itching and burning sensation on the skin. It is advised to use Peroxide Free Hand Sanitizers if you feel itchiness of the skin.
Why Liquid and Not Gel based Hand Sanitizer?
Many gel based hand sanitizers are available in the market, but these although effective in formulation are viscous in nature, are not fluidic and have a contained spread. With a structure smaller than the gel particle size, the virus can easily reside in the hollow skin cracks. A problem easily avoidable with liquid formulations. What is CHG? Why has it been used?
CHG or Chlorhexidine Gluconate is added to alcohol making it extremely potent by enhancing the kill rate. CHG is often used in mouth wash, wound cleaning and surgical hand washing. It also enhances the spreading of hand rub.
After using this product, do we have to wash our hands?

Will such low dosage rate work?
Product is specialized for cost effective dosage, and QACs are effective at low dosages.

Pre-evacuation of humans required?
Yes, fumigation in closed spaces should not be done with people present. Safe re-entry time is 40mins.
