PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Alstacol 25+ is a ready-to-use alcohol surface disinfectant for high-touch objects: mobile phones, laptops, access control readers, door handles, handrails, lift buttons, toilet seats. It carries 70% alcohol with 0.3% QAC and works in a five-second contact time, so it suits the surfaces people touch in passing and nobody has time to wet down for a minute.

The 5-litre jar is the refill. An office or clinic wiping access readers, handrails, lift buttons and shared keyboards several times a day gets through alcohol disinfectant quickly, and refilling trigger bottles from a jar costs a fraction of replacing them. Decant into a labelled spray bottle, keep the jar closed, and store both away from heat.

It is supplied at working strength, so 5 litres is 5 litres of usable disinfectant with no dilution to calculate - which matters when consumption has to be forecast rather than guessed. Alcohol remains the correct choice for electronics and for any surface that cannot be left wet. Keep it away from open flame and do not spray into live electrical fittings.

  • 70% alcohol plus 0.3% QAC — Alcohol for the rapid kill, quaternary ammonium for the residual. The combination does more than either alone.
  • Three alcohols blended — Ethanol with 1-propanol and 2-propanol, which broadens the range across viruses, bacteria, moulds and fungi.
  • Safe on electronics — The product for phones, laptops, screens and access readers - the surfaces a water-based disinfectant must never touch.
  • No gas or propellant — A pump spray of pure disinfectant, not an aerosol. Nothing in the bottle but the actives, and nothing pressurised to store.

HOW TO USE

  • Decant into a spray bottle — Pour from the jar into a clean labelled trigger bottle. Keep the jar closed between refills - alcohol evaporates from an open container.
  • Spray the surface, not the cloth — Spray directly onto the object so it is visibly wet. Spraying a cloth first halves the dose that reaches the surface.
  • Allow five seconds — Five seconds of wet contact is the dose. This is a short contact time, but it is not zero.
  • Wipe with a clean dry cloth — Wipe off with a dry, clean cloth. A damp or reused cloth puts back what was just removed.
  • Keep it away from flame — It is 70% alcohol. Do not use near an open flame or spray into a live electrical fitting, and store it away from heat.
